Producer, DJ, and Director, Astronate revolves his product around hard-hitting bass, smooth and groovy samples, and versatility of sounds in the Hip-Hop universe. Hailing from the 910, Astronate has been in love with music ever since his mother introduced him to Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind, and Fire at a young age. He began producing beats in a college dorm room with his roommate Ayo Norm. Within two years, Astronate had earned a spot as a founding member of Callisto Records and DJing at events around campus. The south, funk, rap, trap, and r&b, have had a significant influence on his sound and led to projects such as “The Trap Mr. Rogers” and numerous other tracks produced. He aims to tell stories through sound and make listeners feel as if the music is creating a story in their head.
